Indoor Tournament 10U/12U Winter League Jan. 14th

With everyone still confused over the bye week, ?can someone confirm that the scheduled game of Feb. 18 will be played this Sunday March 4th. If this is correct maybe gateway can print a new schedule with the correct dates and times for the final 3 games and tournament. This is getting very confusing.

they were committed to a winter league in dayton at gateway sports but pushed that aside to play some small indoor tournament somewhere else. i could never allow my dd to play for an organization that could not keep up a commitment. that is just a poor decision on their organization and a blackeye to the coaching staff and the vipers organization as a whole. not a good way to start off a first year organization. everyone is watching at this stage of the season to see who has their {stuff} together and who doesn't.

Bigpimpin why do you have to take cheap shots at the Vipers. I hope that you don't live in a glass house.

I am sure that the Vipers will be just fine, they have a nice team at the 12U age group and I think that they run a nice organization. Perhaps there is a good reason why they played elsewhere this weekend. Maybe they were looking to play 4 games instead of just one. In any case I don't think that they should be thrown under the bus.

We did not drop out, but informed the Proper chain of command to let them know we would not be able to attend. We are sorry for the inconvience this may have caused the storm( but heard you all played outside in the 65 degree weather) ;D We will be there back on track next week

Mr. Big I enjoy any press I get on the OFC. It just put the name in every Household around the State. As far as not letting your DD play for a Group of talented girls based on the Decision to play more than less I Respect your OPINION. But as far as the 1st year 2nd year stuff I Really dont care what that OPINION is and as far as everyone watching The parents and players on my team seem to be very satisfied on the progress their DD have achieved this season so far. As far as the BLACKEYE thing to Coaching Staff We have got 4 coaches and 8 eyes so we still have 7 more to go But keep watching Im sure I will get some more great comments after this ;D

Woah !! Gannon, I was just asking if you guys dropped out of the league because some parents at Gateway today said you did. I asked "What the Heck" talking to Bigpimp wondering why the lambasting of the vipers.
Actually it worked out great because we got some more great practice on the new outdoor surface at Gateway. No inconvience here, we used our time wisely. We as first year organizations need to look out for each other. Certain people from organizations have taken pot shots at us since we held our first tryout, but we just laugh it off and keep going.
Just ignore the fools and do your own thing. We as another first year Organization know all too well about idiots who spout off at the mouth. Keep on doing what you are doing and see you next week at Gateway.

ValleyStorm since you seem to be fast and furious with your words do you care to elaborate on which organizations or "idiots" as you refer to them have taken "pot shots" at you guys or the Vipers?

And which catagory does the poster bigpimpin fall into in your opinion is it the "fools" or the "Idiots" ? I for one have seen nothing but positive posts about both of the organizations mentioned (the latest post from bigpimping not withstanding). I have met coach VanSant and happen to think that he is on the right track with his team and organization. I have not had the oppertunity to meet you yet but I am wondering why such a big chip on your shoulder?

Edemem,As to the BigPimp being an idiot or a fool I can't really say because one post doesn't really throw them into either category. I also don't think that naming organizations or people on a public forum is a good idea.
The Private message and e-mail potshots that we received were private for good reason and even though I would love to expose the people who had a part in those, That would be acting just as childish as they were and may hurt their organization and that won't help their players in any way will it?

Final Game of the Indoor 12U league at Gateway Sports Complex in Dayton is Tomorrow March 18. The 12U Tournament for the league teams will be either March 25 Indoors or April 1 outdoors if possible.

Well the season is over and time for the tournament. First i would like to say great job to all the girls for a great season.
We are going to try and have the outdoor baseball feild ready for this tournament, if the rain stays away.

By no means the ideal playing conditions, but for price and convenience you can't beat the winter league at Gateway.
The players get to hit, run, pitch, and meet players from all over the area which is always a good thing. Hope to see all the teams outdoors this summer. Have a great season Everyone.
