10U Coaches Meet and Greet Forum

My name is Robbie Orth and I assist with the Ohio Hawks 10U BLACK (99 Black) team close to Middletown Ohio. I have reached out to try and meet as many coaches as possible in our age group. I enjoy meeting other coaches and getting to know their teams as well. 10U is the "new kids on the block" group and it would be helpful to know each other. I have came to know several of the you through email, pm or called you on listed phone numbers. I have met several of you and made good friends with you and your team. I would appreciate it if you would email me your name, team and contact information at robbie@orthelectric.com or if you want just give me call and talk softball then you can catch me 513-267-6453. This isn't a sales pitch by no means. It is nice to get to know each other before we all go out in the spring and possibly scrimmage from time to time to get our girls some live pitching and field time. I figure we are in this for the girls and the more teams we meet, the better we all become.

You are tougher than a pine knot Ernie. You took a couple shots and I know that I would have had a hard time recovering from that. Gotta love your passion for your girls and the game!

Thank you for the shout out. We played against the Southern Ohio Express last year, Gar Seigla was a coach. They were very good coaches and competitors. We had some close games and they were a class act. We attended your tournament and your 9u team was just starting out at that tournament. I will make personal contact with Joe and introduce myself.

yep Gar moved up to 12U and right now is busy coaching our 7th graders in basketball. Joe and Jimmy Dan are quality guys who are in it for the right reasons.

Hey, what in the heck is going on here!!! 10U coaches getting along with each other??? Ya'll are suppose to be bickering, fighting, yelling at each other, and stealing each other's players!!! It is not about developing the girls but about the egos of the parents!!! What is next, cats and dogs living together and he** freezing over???

The Hawks 99 Black was very fortunate last year to have played against some great teams that helped us tremendously. We received a lot of input and help from several organizations and coaches. Those teams moved up to 12U this year and now I guess it is our turn to try and return the helping hand that was given to us last season. OFC Heat, Miamisburg Sting 9u and 10U, Static 10U Lester and several others. We may wear different jersey's but we all share a common goal. Thanks for your input Bill.
