Wait a minute there Shane. I have Robbie under contract to be my assistant for atleast one more year!!! After that I guess he can go to the highest bidder. Probably be the Yankees! We are very fortunate to have Robbie as apart of our team and organization.

As Robbie has stated, in 10u we are the new kids on the block in the fastpitch world and for those coming in for their first year it is very eye opening. It was nice to have those helping hands last year and we both feel if we can be the ones to lend that hand to anyone we are glad to do so.

Most importantly, its about developing the girls, not only to be successful softball players but also to grow up and become great young ladies.

I appreciate the props! Brian and I coach well together and keep our phones hot. We have been through some pretty rough times and some really good times together since we started coaching together. Unfortunately he moves up to 12u next season and my dd still has another 10u year ahead of her as well as Brian's younger dd. I have talked to over 40 coaches and I think it would be nice to get together and meet prior to kicking off the season. I have found several coaches that are new and they don't know each other yet. The economy is affecting all of us and it is a tough year for 10u select. Costs are a huge factor for all the parents and coaches. Last year Brian and I invested over $2000.00 of our own money for equipment for our team and we were fortunate to have been able to do it together. Times are going to get better and the economy will get back on its feet! Talk to you soon and we look forward to meeting you and Charlie.

I know your dd plays on the Hawks 99 Gold team but unfortunately we haven't had the opportunity to meet each other yet. I know the Hawks 99 Gold is a very "talented and solid" team. I have spoken with Shane from the XPlosion and Mike with the Lady Aces and they are both great guys. Shane's story about his dd's softball journey and the college she chose is a great inspiration to my dd and one worth asking him about. The SWOBAT indoor tournament would be a great opportunity for teams to get a good look at great competition and meet other coaches. We will be missing 6 of our girls throughout that weekend and we aren't able to attend. Good luck to all the teams involved and I hope 2 more are able to jump in and round out the schedule.
