Top 10u teams:

Last year at GAPSS, we were able to fill a few remaining spots with the best-of-the-best 10u teams and the play and competition was awesome. This year we have 3 remaining spots available and I would like to challenge the top 10u teams in the state who are not already playing to come to GAPSS July 23-25 and let the final poll be decided on the field.

GAPSS, Stingrays and Laser Nation should be to Ohio Travel Softball as the Masters, The PGA, US Open and British Open are to pro golf. If you're not in GAPSS...better grab one of those three spots.

We could use one more don't-miss "major" for softball. Who's it gonna be?

We were at Gapss last year and were very happy. This year the problem with Gapss is that the date has been changed from last year and we are already committed to the world series in columbus-- which has a field that's definitely no cake walk.

A note to all td's.... try as best as you can to keep the dates the same year in year out. it helps us amateur schedule setters when we're making our schedule out in december. I'm sure I'm missing all the details that made it mandatory that this date be changed. Gapss is a great tournament but I think all tournaments in this age group are struggling to fill their pools this year.

Diamond Chix would love to go to the GAPSS .... but we will be at the NSA world series from July 24th through the 30th... Is there any other good tournaments the first week of August?? or after?? were we can all meet up??

The next month or so is really going to have some serious fastpitch played. LOTS of good teams going against each other. Should be a LOT of fun to watch.
Maybe the coaches can get together once all the Nationals are over and find a place to play a BIG friendly???

The Classics will consider the Nationals tune up. We had intended to have that weekend off, but we may miss a planned tournament later this month due to pitchers injuries and unavailablity, so that could be a possibility as a make up. Also, I wouldn't want Tadd to go a couple weekends in a row without seeing us for the first time all spring and summer, he might miss us and have withdraws, LOL. Are you having the NSA umpires that worked the Boardman Field of Dreams tournament?
