That was my daughter, and she is not 10, she is 8. I never said she threw 60 mph. I said she threw 60 pitches yesterday. You people are nuts! BTW, we are looking for a good number one pitcher, and a catcher that can gun down everybody. Two middle infielders wouldn't hurt either, but they have to be athletic. I have a pitcher throwing 58 straight up................................................... NO BS 10U player legit.............................................................................................................. She is 4' 10" So 58" straight up when she releases the ball..


All joking aside great if some teams have these flame throwers. I have two girls who have worked all year to throw decent speeds but they are young, and We plan to add one more and go out and compete and let these young girls learn and grow. I teach hardcore fundamentals and proper form, and if they leave stronger as a player at the end of the season, and understand the game and teamwork then the rest does not matter to me.

PS... I got a message that no way my pitcher throws 58!!!!!!! Please read this message and see the silly humor in it people... SHE IS 58" TALL STRAIGHT UP.... She is NOT throwing 58...

A HUGE part of the problem with inflated speed claims is Rev Fire. People don't understand that you have to calibrate the distance from the pitcher to the catcher wearing the sensor in order to get accurate velocity readings. I think this is why pitching coaches like using Rev Fire because they can show kids and parents "see, my coaching is working"!

Hey give me a Rev Fire and I can get any pitcher to throw whatever speed you want to see just by moving closer to the pitcher. Best used for measuring rotation. Stick to radar for speed.

Bushnell specs say +/- 1 mph. However, we've had two guns on the same pitch and they were different by 3mph. There is too much hoopla about speed; not nearly enough about location and movement. JMHO.
