Ringer - How close are we to getting our first 10U poll made public?

Not real close. Both the 10s and 18s only have two coaches who sent their picks in. All other age groups have had a good response. We already had some good smack talk on the 14U poll. ;) :-? :-X

Come on 10U coaches, get your votes in. There is no reason we can not have as much discussion and fun as the 12, 14, and 16U.

Chiilicothe Chill and a Heart Of Ohio team. They were awesome. Great pitchers. Little blonde haired lefty with control. Throws strikes.

Ringer - I think this is the age group I can help you with because it would be awful hard to mess up with only two coaches voting. I think this is my speed. ?;D ;D

# 1 Ohio Ice - Dominant 52 mph pitcher with a nice change up and outstanding control. Defeated the 10U Lady Lasers in the championship game of the Spano NSA Qualifier in February and the 9U Lady Lasers in pool play. The Ice finished this competitive tournament undefeated.

# 2 Lady Lasers 10U - Bats and 50 mph+ pitching. Finished runner up to Ohio Ice at Spano. Only loss at Spano was to the Ice.

# 3 Ohio Stingrays - Bats, bats, bats, and more bats. Power and small ball hitters. Loss both games to the 10U Lasers at Spano.

# 4 Lady Lasers 9U - Bats, speed, and pitching. 2007 NSA 8U World Series Champions.

# 5 Valley Extreme - Pitching

These top 5 with a couple newbies should compete nicely this year, unlike 2007 when the 10U Lasers dominated Ohio and went 63-0.

This is a long term forecast but watch out for the 9U Lasers in 2009, they could once again be a national contender.

Deltafoxtrot/Road Runners

I don't know where you get your info from. We are the Michigan Mustangs and just had the pleasure of playing the Pittsburgh lady Road Runners at the War in the Wetlands in Fort Wayne last weekend. Not only were they an excellent team but their parents were some of the nicest and classiest we have ever encountered

Ice and Lasers sound teams but did not see girls throwing 50 plus miles per hour. Ice pitcher is probable the strongest we have seen in fall winter and spring league. Tough against us someone said she struggled with control bu in tourney she put it on dime i just didnt see anything but great control.

I don't know of many 9U's that can bring it at 50, give or take a few. Have heard of some, then you see them live. Pitchers dads can be like weekend fisherman. "That fish was this big"

what are you talking about, piddle...all 10u pitcher's on the ofc throw 50+!
10u dads are severly more accurate than their 16/14u counterparts

My DD played 10U last year, in some nice tournaments. We saw very few true 10Us that threw 50. I am a golfer. I shot 67 twice, does that mean I shoot in the high 60's. No, that means the good lord smiled on me that particular day. Maybe a mulligan or two.
