There's something wrong when you have to tell your girls who went 3-0 in poll play, that a team they beat outright went home with the championship trophy. I'm with Ringer, this is about the girls.

KW, just because your team went 3-0 in pool play, doesn't mean your team would win the championship. Some teams play all eleven or twelve players in pool play, then play their best nine on Sunday. Maybe the TD should hand out a trophy for all the teams that win their pools.
It's too bad rain did ruin a good tournament, but I believe they called this one off a little too fast.

Sounds like the Diamond Dog Classic the weekend before. Coin tosses should not give berth to Nationals. They'll be plenty of teams to compete without "coin toss victories." It's funny though, the ones who won the coin toss the weekend before and gained a berth to Nationals are complaining about not winning the coin toss for their 2nd tournament? It's about playing softball--not coin tosses!!! Let's Play Ball. Good luck this weekend everyone! It's supposed to be fabulous weather--leave your coins at home!

No berths can be obtained by a coin toss, At the Diamond Dogs tournament only the teams that went 3-0 during pool play were awarded berths. The coin toss was basically to see who takes the trophies off of their hands.

Valley Extreme, Top Guns and NEO Dynamite all went 3-0 during pool play so they were all offered berths due to the unfortunate circumstances. VE already had a berth so Top Guns and NEO Dynamite were each awarded one.

The Dynamite already had a berth from the Diamond Dog Tourney. That tournament was also decided by a coin flip, but from what I understand the top 3 seeds from pool play, which were all 3-0, were awarded berths to nationals.

the lasers silver were awarded a berth too at the diamond dog tourney. We also played at spano (got our buts kicked by Valley Extreme) so we will not be at the state.
