14U (13 yr old) looking for a team...preferably a Dayton area one

I am doing this for a friend of mine. His daughter has started to take an interest in softball. She is a very good athlete...plays volleyball, but just recently completed her first year of junior high softball and got some awards at the banquet for her abilities.

She has played rec ball and they feel they are ready to make the leap into travel ball, although late in the game. I know there are some teams out there still looking for a utility type player. She is a girl that could end up playing anywhere but P,C or 1st.

I feel she is a diamond in the rough...good athlete with speed that a good coach could develop into a great softball player.

Interesting.....133 views yet no inquiries about this young lady? Did saying she played volleyball throw a wrench into it? Someone is going to regret NOT getting this girl. I would not put this out there unless she could play.

Vball at the HS level does throw a wrench but not in Jr High . I would be interested but Gahanna is a hike for league games and practice Coach Pat
