14u ASA Eastern Nationals Start Date?

ASA "A" Easterns in Sterling are listed as 8/1-8/7 (Mon - Sun). Does anyone know if there is a strict rule on when opening ceremonies are and when play actually begins? I thought that ceremonies would be on Tuesday and play would begin on Wednesday, but I wasn't sure if that was just my experience or the norm.

ASA Code only sets Monday as the earliest day for beginning territorial nationals. Each organizer determines the actual start of their tournament.

I recommend keeping on eye on both www.piedmontvaasa.org and www.vaasajo.org for updates. They'll be more current than the national site.

If it is any help, last year at ASA Esterns in York,PA the opening ceremonies were held on Thurs and play began on Friday. Championship was held Sunday afternoon.
