***LOOKING FOR ONE PLAYER WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE IMMEDIATELY TO A VERY TALENTED TEAM***

This player and her family MUST be committed to this sport above all others with the long term goal of playing at the next level. DISTANCE is not an issue...as long as you can make a long Sunday afternoon practice, are self motivated enough to do your work at home during the week and can make all tournaments we will consider you to fill this vacated roster spot. We currently have several players traveling considerable distances to be a part of this special team.

Head Coach: Sonny Ross (entering 20th season coaching, 5th year with Cincy Static Neon '01 team)

Assistant Coaches: Steve Anderson (2nd year), Bryan Peak (5th year), Kristina Ross (18 yrs playing, 5th year) and David Wisman (5th Year)

TEAM DESCRIPTION:
The Cincy Static Neon '01 team based out of Harrison, OH is heading into its fifth season as a team. In each of the last four seasons we have qualified for and played in the ASA "A" Nationals (10U, 11U, 12U and 13U). Our schedule in 2015 was mainly ASA "A" (three 14U "A" ASA/USA NQ tournaments, one ASA NNQ) but we also played in such great events as PGF Stars and Stripes Showcase, USFA State tourney and USSSA WSQ as well. Our Schedule for this 2015 summer season was very similar to our 2014 season but we improved it by adding Fire in the Sky ASA in Orville, OH which hosted 96 14U teams this year and The Stars and Stripes Showcase PGF Showcase tournament in Chicago, IL. Our 2015 fall schedule will include plenty of practice, friendlies, fall tournaments and hopefully our third annual college "light the fire" event. In the winter we will workout indoors and maybe do a couple of highly competitive indoor events. The 2016 summer schedule will be very similar to this past season with a couple of subtractions to make room for some nice additions to an already great schedule. This is my 20th season coaching girls in this sport. I have a seasoned staff of coaches that include former collegiate players and varsity coaches. The coaches on our team go the extra mile by attending the best coaching clinics available. We are also closely affiliated with what we consider to be the best pitching, hitting/slapping and catching instructors in the area. This is a very special team will be comprised of a group of committed players, parents and coaches that are dedicated to seeing every player achieve their goals...noNe dividEd and One uNited!!!

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE FOR 2016:
Fall tournaments so far (1st place finish at Fall State WSQ on 9/20/15, 5th place finish of seventeen high quality teams traveling from NC, TN, MI, OH,KY and IN at Fall Classic ASA/USA "A" NQ on 9/27/15, 5th place finish of 19 high quality teams at the Chicago Classic PGF NQ on 10/3 as we lost in heartbreak ITB game to get knocked out), College light the fire event, Indoor tournaments/camps, Indoor winter workouts. We have ALWAYS played a very competitive summer schedule that includes ASA/USA A National Qualifiers/State tournaments (Dayton Metro, Heatin it up, Cincy Metro, QCUQ, Orville Fire In The Sky which hosted 96 14U teams this year and ASA States), PGF College Showcases (Stingrays in Columbus, OH or Stars and Stripes in Chicago, IL), USFA State tournaments, a couple of USSSA World Series Qualifiers and each season we have qualified for and played in ASA A Nationals. In 2016 we will replace two of our events with two more Showcase events.

CINCY STATIC NEON '01 TEAM NEEDS 2016: We will consider ALL positions...playing time is earned!!!
PITCHER= We will consider a strong pitcher/position player...must have great control and good command of multiple pitches.
CATCHER= We will consider a strong catcher/position player...must have a strong bat.
MIDDLE INFIELD= We will consider a strong middle infielder with speed...slapper or power would be a plus.
CORNERS= We will consider a strong corners player...preferably 1st base...must have strong bat.
OUTFIELD= We will consider a strong, speedy outfielder/utility...slapper or power would be a plus

MISSION STATEMENT:
Our goal is to not only continue to develop stellar athletes who go on to play at the next level but more importantly to develop quality human beings and productive citizens who value honesty, loyalty and integrity. Many important life lessons are learned through competition and "competition breeds success"! We stress the importance of our players possessing what we call "the three A's", ATTITUDE(a good one), ACADEMICS(good grades)and ATHLETICISM (talent)! These three attributes are required in a player that seeks to garner a collegiate scholarship. Ultimately it is our goal to help these ladies in their efforts to receive a great collegiate education while playing the sport they love!

Three of the basic ingredients in a successful team is strong pitching, great defense and timely hitting with an emphasis on fundamentals, development and a belief in our organizations motto: "Successful Teams Achieve Through Individual Commitment"

Thanks,

Coach Sonny

We intend to bring 1-2 prospects at a time to an indoor workout in our search to fill this final roster spot. This allows parents to observe what we do to develop our players, it allows our coaches to see how the players will interact and it allows the player to be thoroughly evaluated in a low pressure team workout setting environment. Should you be interested in being considered for an invite please call or text me at 513-324-1447 or email us at cincystaticfastpitch@yahoo.com.

Thanks,

Coach Sonny
