Were still alive and kicking, one of six teams that won their pool and hope to do well tomorrow. The 3 teams that look really good are Indiana Shockwaves Black 13U, Team Indiana (new team with ex Indy Dreams/Shockwaves players) and the Indiana Diamond Chix 14U. I didn't get to see the other pool winners. Did I miss any good games earlier in the day?
Miami Valley Xpress won both their games tonight.
Know they played the Shockwaves their first game and a Chill team from IL.
The Xpress will play again tomorrow at noon.

Hey Buckeyes, still having fun over here in Indy. We kinda have a no name dropping policy with our 14U, but the good news is were in the Championship game, awaiting the winner of the Indy Diamond Chix & Michigan Generals winner. I can tell you, that both the Indy Diamond Chix and Team Indiana are for real!!! They played a thriller with Team Indiana leading 3-0 and the Chix coming back with 4 in the last inning to win. ;D
Just got a call - not many details other than Miami Valley Xpress came in second behind the Indy Diamond Chix...
Guess I will get more details upon their arrival in Cincy.

What a great weekend of softball!!! Here's the final results. 1)Indy Diamond Chix 2) Miami Valley Xpress Red 3) Michigan Generals and Wisconsin Cyclones 5) Team Indiana and Indiana Shockwaves Silver 7) Indiana Shockwaves Black and Anderson Extreme. ;D
On the Compuware site they list Miami Valley Xpress Blue and Miami Valley Xpress White as the teams entered in the 14U tournament. ?Is the Red team that did so well in Indy this weekend a third Xpress 14U team or are the team names wrong on the Compuware site?
Blue is the older 14U team, Red is the 13U team and there is a third white team. Red and Blue are going to compuware, white is listed, but should be red. Misprint from Compuware.
Gary, she's doing fine- thanks for asking. We have some nice pictures for our team safety meeting...lol. Do you have Andi's phone # so we can assure her everythings alright? My DD might be a little rough around the edges, but she would never fault anyone for something like that, especially a team mate. BTW did I read your last post right-are we in at Comuware?
Yes, we are in Compuware. I don't have her #, but if you go up in the above posts, her mom is cincysoftball. I'm sure she is reading these posts. Great news on Kimbo, she gets her name for a reason, tough KID, great young lady.
Congrats MVP! I'm glad the player is fine - wHat happened? Hope her injury wasn't from sliding - the bags at the SportZone don't give like an outdoor bag - when we play there we tell our girls to slide around the bags or not to slide at all in order to avoid any ankle injuries.

Just sent you an email to your personal address with our phone numbers.
Glad to hear Kimbo is doing OK! I know Andi was still upset when she got home - worrying about her. We did try to call you all, got the answering machine.
We will probably call this evening just to check on her!

renu, sliding was dangerous.
Injury was from a ball that glanced off her glove and hit her above the left eye. We are all are thankful she will be fine as she is a major part of our team.
Patty, teammates are also like sisters and they and us hate when this happens, but we know it is part of the game. Tell her to keep her chin up, she is a great young lady. Gary
