This reminds me of the movie 'The Godfather' where Peter Clemenza tells Michael Corleone "its ok, we need a big flair up every ten years between the 5 families".

Yeah a lot of Outlaw talk on here the past few months, but Ive known Warren for several years, it is not for the wrong reasons. He is a good guy getting the word out on how his organization has grown and what the girls are up to. Just my take.

Anyways back to the popcorn..................

I just wanted to give a shout out to my Ohio Outlaws Premier 14U Vesco for a great job finishing 3rd in this Elite Showcase

They started the day beating #1 seeded Beverly Bandits and then Iowa Premier before losing to tournament Champion Illinois Chill. Giving them all they could ever want. Going into the 7th this was a 1-1 tie and then a couple costly errors ended up costing the Outlaws the game, but still a amazing day against some of the best teams in the country.

AWESOME JOB GIRLS!!
Warren

Great Job to Marty and the Girls. Now if you can find that B - Button Miller has you can go all the way.

What's the big deal if warren congrats his org. Those girls, coaches and parents deserve it. How nice is it that a president of an org roots on all his teams? I like it.

I coached for warren awhile ago and he truly cares about all his teams. Trust me when I tell you that this OP was about the team and not him.

If you think there is too many outlaw posts then start posting about the great accomplishments of your team. Fill it up!!

Congrats outlaw girls! Keep up the great work.

I had the luxury of coaching and playing against Marty's team several times in the last couple years. He is in an elite class of coaches. He remains classy throughout the contest, treats his opponents and umpires with respect, pushes his players to perform to their potential (and expects nothing less) and genuinely is good for the game. Sure, there are others like him out there and I mean no disrespect to any other coach by not naming them (not possible). He simply is in a group that I would say is "one of the good guys" and his team can flat out play ball! Good for you, Warren. Go ahead and plug away. They earned it!

To Coach Marty & girls-congrats and good luck this season, from Ohio Glory '01.

Yes. You should never have to apologize for being successful and proud of the hard work put in to be successful. We talk about marketing and recruiting all the time. If no one talks about how well a kid, team, coach, org, whatever, does then how do we know? Sure that leaves you open to criticism as well, but if your afraid of that, then you'll probably never truly be successful.

As long as you stay positive and not unduly tear someone else down to prop your agenda up, then be loud and proud.

If you don't like hearing good things about other people, and it bothers you that much, your going to have a generally difficult time in life. My 2 cents.
