Once again, it's time to vote. get your ballots in by Tuesday night at 11:00. Results should be posted shortly after.

With everyone off to World Series and/or Nationals soon, this may be the last poll of the season. Or, maybe one more week. If anyone wants to share their thoughts on when to have the last poll of the season, please do so.

@ Merlion. Maybe we could have a couple of more polls, maybe three if we can do a post nationals poll. What do you think?

How many teams in the top 10 have they played?

:). We know where this is going. :)

The Tigerlillys are a solid team. They hit and field well. However, for a second year 14u team, you'd like to see them play a tougher schedule. To each their own, though. Not every team is out for the same exposure.

Congrats on your tournament win. Good luck at nationals.

Yep at 14u the Classics 96 lost to Team PA who then lost to OFC HEAT 96 who lost to Ohio Ice, eventual champs. OFC HEAT 96 went to losers bracket where they met Classics 96 again, losing this time. Classics then lost to Ohio Ice in champ game.

OFC HEAT 96 beat the Riptides to win Cincy Metro. At the Dayton Metro OFC HEAT 96 lost to Ohio Ice who then played the Stingrays in champ game which they won.

OFC HEAT 96 should be ranked in the top ten. DD doesn't play for them, just saying. ;&;&

OFC Heat 96 absolutely deserves to be ranked in top 10. Kudos to Coach Phillip's team for not getting on the board and chest pumping/promoting. I don't need to know how many tournaments they've won-doesn't matter. They have played in Lasers, GAPSS, ASA States, etc and played the very best and have beaten some of the best.
Hope they break top 10!

Catalyst, thanks for the comments. You are correct in that we should have been playing a tougher season and after the first tournament, we sure wish we had. I know it sounds like I am trying to toot my own horn, but really I just want the girls to get the recognition they deserve. They have played and won against teams like WolfPack, Lasers Orange, Valley Extreme, Pitts Spirit, Finesse (Both Black and Blue), McMadness, Thunder Elite, Wizzards Elite... I take full responsibility for not getting them into tougher competition. When I layed out our schedule in the Fall/early spring, I had no idea what to expect from our team let alone from the tournaments we were entering. Winning tournaments is pretty new for me, so we always went with what we knew from past experiences. We are already talking about next years schedule and plans for the girls.

Compuware, even though it is not what is was before, it still was a tough tournament for these girls. Cinderella Classic, yes not as much competition as we would like, we even asked to play up at the 16s and were not allowed. Not sure where you would rank the Akron Slam tournament but we did eliminate some very quality teams. Having played the Wolfpack 2xs in the fall, we lost in pool play but won when it counted on Sunday and even sent them to the consi bracket in Compuware, just hoped our girls would be considered.
(Wolfpack, please do not take that comment as a slam, you guys are a very tough team and deserve all the props you have)

Again Cat, right on the money, some of our tournament wins were with less competition than other tournaments and thank you for the kind words about our girls. They play hard and are such a great group of girls!!!

We just need some TD's to show us some love with the invites next year. :D

Boy, that OFC Heat team is sure one to beat. Just congrats to the Ice on the big win, and all those teams who fought in that tourny. Also kudos to the Tigerlillys on their win. For sure they are one NEO team to beat.

D-Gals

No need to appologize, you have a very solid team and they have played extremely well against high level competition. I do not see you as being on here as chest pounding. I see you here for the right reason, recoginition of your players. You are posting for the right reason!!!! Wish I could have been at the Cinderella tournament to catch a few games, but we had a much needed family vacation. Congrats on the win! Good luck the rest of the season and hopefully we can catch another game or tow of yours. Always a pleasure to watch those girls!!

Ditto, they are a very nice team. Classy coaches and parents. They were one of the teams my parents commented on whenever we played them. Friendly non-arrogant folks. Good luck in Texas!!

I agree about the OFC Heat. We have only played them once and it was a great game that ended in a 4-3 win for them in ITB. They have certainly been making noise. Best of Luck... I am sure they will represent Ohio well.

We've had a whopping three ballots cast so far. It might be time to call it a wrap after this week's poll.

Yeah, nothing like a poor turn out to sour things. It's a shame that more teams don't participate. Thanks Merlion for doing the polls, and to the coaches that participate.
