27dad, I'm sure you're correct. I went off of what I saw on their website and the Silver seems like their older 14u team. I took the NSA/WPA champion photo on the Silver website to mean Penn Township. Thats my bad. It does get confusing. This years 14u red was last years 12u silver. The 14u black was last years gold. Why don't they just use names at the end? In any case, got to see them all play this weekend at Spano. I went to "scout". And to get out of the house on a crappy cold day. They all looked solid. Achille team, black, may have went further except they ran into Slammers in the quarters. Wasn't there for that game so not sure exactly how that game turned out other than Slammers got past them.
Won't be going to IUP this year. We're just somewhere else that weekend or in between. But I think the open roster mumble jumble is only for 16u and up? Can't believe I just typed that, but can't think of any other way to put it. Nicely that is.

Not that I have found.
Looks like they were initially updating their website with scores but stopped about 3/4 of the way thru pool play. They also have updated brackets on their site with winners but no scores.

I understand Victor's previous post about people not being thankful they have a place to play softball. This weekend came down to simple business courtesy for me. They guaranteed 4 games. Then a week before the tournament, they dropped it to 3 games with a note that if you wanted a refund, then you could have a full refund, but not play. Last year, at GAPSS, the game guarantee was changed due to WEATHER. The people running GAPSS made sure they tried to accommodate their customers (players, parents, and spectators) for the inconvenience. That is smart business. The Spanodome changed the guarantee because they let in too many teams. They violated a contract and then said deal with it. The message received was "We do not care what our customers think of us at this particular event".
They may care about girls softball. They may care about the teams that are organized out of this facility. I don't know. I am only going on what this event said to me as a customer. I am not bitter about this experience, but I leave it a more informed customer for the future.

That would have cost Spano at least $200, maybe even $250!! Good god people! Be reasonable! They only pulled in around $20,000 for the w/e! Give the man a break!

I think Pinnacle is looking to expand tourney play next winter: Turf, good lighting, 140 down the line and 180 to center...8 large cages for warm up...and CLEAN!
