Genshaft Park
2801 Erie Street
Massillon, Ohio 44646

All games will be held at Genshaft Park in Massillon, Ohio. The complex has 4 lighted fields, concession stand, restrooms, bleacher seating, warm-up area, and 200-foot home run fences.

Format:
(4) Game Guarantee (weather permitting), (2) pool-play games & double elimination. The ASA State Tournament may be adjusted at ANY time due to unforeseen weather related issues.

Entry Fee: $350.00
An entry form along with a check for $350.00 will confirm your spot. ?Absolutely NO refunds after May 1, 2008. ?

Gate Fee:
There will be a gate fee at Genshaft Park with $1.00 per ticket sold, going towards The Miracle Softball League (Special Needs Athletes) sponsored by Forty Corners Church. ?

1) Adults $6.00 per day per person or $15.00 weekend pass.
2) Adults 55 + $4.00 per day or a weekend pass for $10.00.
3) Students $2.00 per day


Team Awards:
1st place ? Team trophy, individual awards, and a PAID Berth to ASA Nationals - 16u in Owensboro, Kentucky

2nd place ? Team trophy and individual awards

3rd place ? Team trophy and individual awards

Check ? In:
Check-in will be held at Genshaft Park 2 hours prior to ANY games starting. All teams must be ASA Sanctioned, show proof of insurance (ASA I.D. Cards if you have them will be fine), and have birth certificates available on request.

Pool games could begin as early as 10:00am on Friday, June 20th depending on the number of teams that enter. Double elimination could start as early as Saturday afternoon. All schedules will be posted at Genshaft Park and on the internet at www.eteamz.com/ohiowolfpack ?

I thought states usually gave 2 berths? If I read your description correctly, you are only giving 1 berth? Can you please confirm?

Shayne: I found it by hitting the ASA States link on the Woflpack page. From there, follow the links to the handout for the entry form.

OK....I believe it is NOW working. You should be able to go to www.eteamz.com/ohiowolfpack/ then click on the tab at the top of the page that says ASA States Information. This will then take you to a page where you can download 3 forms.

1. Entry Form and Rules
2. Parent Waiver Form for the City of Massillon
3. Team Directory for hotels, food, directions and etc.

From what I have heard they are giving us 1 berth. I have heard that berths depend on how many teams sanction ASA in Ohio. That somehow determines how many berths they give out at tournaments. All I know is we will receive 1 berth and like last year I believe they gave away 4-5 at the State Tournament.

I would tend to agree with you about the college coaches. There should be quite a few at the 16U ASA State Qualifier and the 16U 18U Qualifier in Pickerington. I'm really surprised more teams have not already signed up, I know it is still early.

Seems that the 16U regional qualifier in Pickerington has a few more teams. Who would not want another crack at going to the ASA Nationals in Owensboro, KY.

I know the 16U Ohio Classics Black will be coming, according to Dave.
A couple more teams that pop into my head would be....

Those are just a few at least from up here near the Massillon area??? Still time and I'm sure most of those teams will enter at some point. I would love to see more Central Ohio teams and Cincy area teams and Toledo area teams hop on for this tournament. Should be a fun one to see everyone battle it out.
