No new additions to the 14u yet...We still have 28 more days for entries to come in. I have asked the NSA Director & assistant Director if we could have a berth with only 3 teams and the answer was yes, so if no more entrys, we may go with three teams and alter the format to two pool games and double elimination in bracket, but we will cross that bridge when the time comes. Hope this helps....

I know 5 of our 14U players are freshmen at 3 different schools and are not released to play with us until May 19th.
That could be the 14U problem?

Fellow Members:

I am sorry for not updating this post, an oversight of mine. I started a new post today and overlooked this one. I'm blaming on old age. :-[ :-[

That is inexcusable... that will cost you ONE WALKING TACO! Failure to pay during pool play will cost you TWO WALKING TACOS! >:(

We only have two teams in the 10u division..We can play with three and give a berth. We would play two pool games and double elimination in bracket, but we need that one team or a lot more....

Why? Is part of the reason to look for players?
I heard you were asking players to quit their team and to join yours at the Columbus tournament at Berliner on April 19-20. Will you stop asking players to quit their team and join yours?

Let me clarify. I did not mean you personally. I heard a coach of your team was asking players to quit their team and join your team.

mom2dd ; Don't really know where you are going with this, but as you can see - the Stingrays 11U team will be playing at this tournament. I don't see why it would be so awful to have the 12U coach there supporting his organization. Besides ( JMHO ) no parent or child would even think of leaving a committed team unless they are truly unhappy with their current team or situation.

mom2dd - I am going to suggest you IM coop and discuss this with him privately. I have known Coop for a number of years and what you say does not fit his character.

Also the 13U which has many players that played for Coop last year. My dd and his dd are friends and go and watch each other play. We have the same pitching coach! This kind of stuff gets started , when you see someone talking to a parent and jump to conclusions. Keep in mind many of us know each other. If Joe A is talking to my DD, it doesn't mean he is trying to get her to play for the Buckeye Heat. It just means we are friends and he knows her. Unless someone is part of a conversation, I wouldn't hold much stock in rumors. Besides Coop doesn't need to recruit!
