Just an FYI...
1. Stingrays Morman and Tolar are one in the same.
2. Pearson coaches the MVX and Larabee is an assitant

Folks, I know some of the girls on the OFC Heat. I am telling you right now that they are the real deal. They will be hard to beat.

Lasers White have a very good pitching staff and have a strong offense all through their lineup. They are gonna be tough competition this summer.

updating from an earlier thread about top 16u teams....i have every schedule that counts in my files...what i plan to do is rank each of the tourneys for a specific weekend, post them here, and let the results speak or themselves...it shuld be fun to see some of these teams play one another, and hopefully for some parents or TD's to post scores of bracket/pool games when titans go head to head

Personally I am very excited about the Laser-Orange team. I know they lost alot of girls from last years team, but Marie has added some serious speed. Our CF is the fastest kid my DD has ever played with. Added some big bats and a big time pitcher.

I am not questioning were the Laser-Orange is ranked, I know it doesnt really matter but I am happy to see they are in the conversation with so many very good teams. Just giving out some info :D

Stingrays - Toler should also be fierce this summer. They have a pitcher coming back, Kate Mays of Teays Valley, who was injured in the fall and is very talented. Also a great offensive team.

I for one am very excited about this summer, but it seems to be ions away at this point.
In reviewing the schedules, it really is such a short season. Teams that come out of the gate fast in the first four weeks could be entirely different by the end of the travel season as a way to build momentum for ASA Nationals.

saw the early polls and i think the wizards elite u16 toledo team will surprize a lot of teams. dont know the coaching but most of the players are very solid with a combination of pitching ,speed and defense.

We've played all of these teams either in the fall or last year and that's a pretty strong list of quality teams. the Nightmare is rock solid and as good as any 16u team that Ohio has seen for a quite some time. BUT I'm thinken the VE Blue has as good a shot as any of ending up on top at the end of the summer. Both Laser teams are solid. I got to play MVX at an 18u thing last year (when they were 14u) and they held their own very well. .... and you can't count out those pesky Classics ;)

It all starts with pitching and the Heat Toledo team brings back both of their pitchers that lead that team to a 40-10 record last year. We are looking forward to the season.

BDD, Hey good to see you out of the political forums. I thought we might have to have an intervention before long.

Blue Devil: Are you guys going to Colorado this summer? If so, which one?
