Compuware seems to parcel out their playing berths over a period of time - there is no singular announcement of the tournament field. Some teams are accepted early, some teams are accepted later - that is just their process.

Buckeye Heat 95 didn't get in either. I guess 9th at Eastern Nationals as a first-year 14u team wouldn't cut it either (not to mention a 3rd place finish at Compuware in our last year of 12u, like Doom96).

Heh, it looks like Compuware is being just as arrogant as last year...if you beat their teams or finish high in their tourney the Don't Want the Competition ! I agree with Joe A.... it is time Ohio takes its travel dollars and talent elsewhere....Michigan can't compete with our elite teams and they obviously don't want to.....I thought Last years group of team exclusions was outragious...but I guess they just don't want a top notch tourney....shame cause when DD was playing it was definately a favorite venue....till they finished 4th and got kicked out then another team she was on finished 3rd and wasn't invited back....both time we beat the house team..Hummmm

We could probably make Beavercreek available on that weekend in 2011--it would just take someone to advertise it and organize and run it. I would gladly work with someone on the details, etc. If I were younger, I'd take it on--but that's not the case. PM me if you are interested.
