Hopefully the weather holds off- the five fields at LaGrange Community Park were resurfaced this spring and they do drain really well. The Keystone Varsity team is lucky to have played every game this season due to the fields being in such great shape. Alot of people from the community will be up at the park Thursday evening and Friday morning prepping these fields. Good luck to all of the teams!

Wellington, Ohio is located approximately 10 miles directly south of Oberlin, Ohio on Ohio Rt 58. (Or 20 miles directly south of Lorain, Ohio on Ohio Rt 58). Ohio Rt 58 can be accessed from Ohio Rt 2 and Ohio Rt 20 from either the east or west. Ohio Rt 58 is indirectly accessible from the Ohio Turnpike I-80/90.

For those of you who are thinking of heading out to Lagrange for the prestigious PREBIS SOFTBALL TOURNMENT, I just got off the phone with Jim Piazza, head coach at Keystone and he says that all games are a go right now!!! To get the teams and the schedules go to the following website:

www.keystonegirlsbasketball.com ?????? not sure why, but.... anyhow, on the left you will see an icon for softball home, click that and then click on Prebis Tournament.

Most of the games are at the Lagrange fields but there are some in Wellington. Both facilities are fantastic!!!

Central Crossing over N.C. Hoover, 5-3.

For Central Crossing, this tournament may well be the best preparation for a State tournament that any team could ask for. After playing Hoover last night, Central Crossing plays Poland Seminary and Elyria today.

@SunDragon: Central Ohio fastpitch community is rooting for your team to show the flag today, just as you did yesterday.

I watched Poland get behind 6-0 to Elyria with Gabriel on the mound only to battle back and win 11-6 or 11-7. They really showed a lot by not quitting.

Nope, I heard Brunswick was the one that said they were not playing Copley. Afraid to play?...lol, good one
