LOL! I would never do that! I was looking forward to seeing a lot of teams this weekend. I haven't had the chance to see a few of them play yet this year. It will be a great weekend for softball as it was last year. Very well run.

Just heard they are on a 4 hour delay.

The 12u is on at least a 4 hour delay, but I'm not sure about the others. They said they would give us more updates about 10:30

The weather has not been cooperating very well in that part of the state the past couple weeks. Hoping mother nature helps us out the rest of the softball season.

I would really like to know why a better attempt at getting some of these games in, is not being made, seems like a waste of a day to me, some people have traveled a long way to play some ball, and the entire day on all fields has been cancelled, makes no sense to me when some of these fields are ready to go and the weather is nice for now.

That is suprising to me ... Strongsville has dedicated field crews to take care of the fields ... assuming one of the top 3 wettest Junes on record has something to do with it ... im sure the fields cant absorb much and take a bit longer to make workable.

Regardless ... still frustrating as heck. Especially after moving vacation days or work days so you can attend the tournament. Same deal for us playing in Orrville but we were lucky to have a wide open Sunday to move games back a day.
