Is there just the one pavilion there? Also, does anyone know if there is a stationary grill? Hoping the weather is above 40....It was snowing on Saturday while we were playing.

Hi Sparty,

Yes, there are three decent size pavillions and stationary grills. I do know that in the past, people have brought grills to the park as well. Here is a link to the park's website which has some rules/permits etc. Village of LaGrange, Ohio | LaGrange Community Park

Additionally, in the center of the 5 fields, there is a concession with bathrooms (running water). All teams will be provided a hot dog lunch for free. Those working the event (umpires/crew) are invited to reception upstairs in event lounge.

In the past, people have brought RV's/Campers to tail gate in the rear of parking lot.

Grafton Cable will be televising the games (not sure which field yet). Good luck this weekend!

I was talking with one of the coaches who was at the Wendy's Classic this weekend and he overheard that Coach Heather Tarr was flying in and would be attending this tournament.

Stasburg lost 1 to 0 to Conneaut in a pitchers duel between LaRocca and Zapatelli. Mathews lost 5 to 0 to Columbus Bishop Hartley, was 2 to 0 till bottom of 6th. Mathews's prom was tonight they only had 1 actual varsity position starter pitcher (Eggens) and 2 outfielders who played infield, the rest were a few varsity subs and JV players. So it was a good showing and valuable experience for their younger players.

Canfield beat Central Crossing 6-1 in 10 innings.

Northern Ohio had heavy rain between 4 and 8 p.m. Thursday night. Cudos to the grounds crew for getting 4 of 5 fields ready at LaGrange Community Park. One game was moved to LaGrange Veteran's Park and many were played at the Wellington Village Park, as scheduled. Huge crowds, biggest I've seen for the Prebis in LaGrange. Thanks to everyone who helped and looking forward to more games, with great weather tomorrow!!
