2nd Annual Static Dance & Silent Auction-3/6/10

It's fun for me to watch the girl's coaches of today who use to play men's softball when I umpired mens for years. There is a lot of you that are giving back to the game in one form or another. I think it is great. I just think the world would be a better place is people gave back to their communities or to the sport that they truly love.

I look forward to the Spring.....

That had to be Kavin dressed up like me...Nah cuz he wouldnt have paid...lol. Kav invites a group out to eat after every softball event. Odd thing is that he will only order a water or a coke. He says he isnt hungry but when everybody else gets their food he starts picking at it and before you know it he is full...now thats tight for a rich man!

Sonny proved my point from my earlier post - no money in the wallet.

OQM: Yes we have fun together. A lot of the times the girls shake their heads at us & parent believe we have more fun than the kids at times. I can tell you, everyone of our coaches love what we do.

Yeah, the first luncheon me and my dd's had with KAVIN & LANE was after playing two at Wilmington 08. I noticed Lane and Kavin both get alligator arms when waitress dropped the check at the table. What they didn't know, was I'm CHEAPER then both of them combined, as my middle DD barfed on Queue and we exited immediately, as I needed "TO CARE FOR MY DD" and waited in parking lot til everyone came out. The first and last time I will get the drop on those two....LMAO.

Kavin / Lane, Jessica still talks about the look on both of your faces as she directed her SPOUTING 30 ounces of Coke, a Large Cotton Candy, and scrambled eggs in your general direction. SORRY!

I vividly remember that day - it looked like Walt Disney threw up - very colorful! I never saw Lane turn so white through that tan of his. I think most of the resturant cleared out after that. That weekend ended up being a great one as we won Heat'n It Up I believe. We'll trade barf for a championship any day!!!

Hope you guys can make the dance - it would be awesome to see the whole family!!!

I would venture to guess the food wasn't the reason for puking...could have been those 2 guys showing you guys their baby pic's... no wonder she couldn't hold it down.... I know I know, my pic is no better. I just don't show anyone .

If we are lucky at this years dance... we can have the Static version "So You Think You Can Dance"... "The Munchin Version".... between all of our coaches that are less than 5'7" we could have a pretty good crowd. Last years theme landed Sonny the title of the Lollipop Kids MVD (Most Valuable Dancer and Lil People Crowd Favorite). He carries this trophy on the dash of his car.

We are building the list of items for bid. In the coming weeks we will list them on our web page. We will have over 100 items and the value will be approaching $10k-$15k in face value products.

We have also moved the event to a much larger venue to accomodate up to 500 people. I will say the girls are really looking forward to the dance. And our parents are just as excited. Everyone gets to get a shot at some really good items and the girls have an incredibly good time. We joke and poke fun, buts that just how we roll...without fun...why do it...
