I say this.. because they picked up the bleachers for ****** and I'm not sure if they put them back out.

Any 12u girls wanting to play on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.... come on down to the tournament. Please be there by 9:00 a.m. Cost is $5.00 per girl .

Lady Liberty is sending 5 to 6 players to help make it a go. Thanks Mike.

Phoenix girls are not a complete team yet.....

Also, if you got some extra catching gear for the girls.... please bring or send. Need parents and coaches. We might have thirty girls to divide up and make teams. We'll first start with who can pitch and who can catch and go from there.

OHIO CLASSICS

This is one of the nicer tournaments that we have played in over the last few years. Great venue, good umpires, well run! There are many teams that missed out on a great opportunity to play in Chillicothe.

Kudos to Mr. Cleaver and NAFA for putting on a memorable tournament. I will definately be bringing the team to more of his tournaments. The girls had a blast! The only downer was that I got a parking ticket at the tournament. But it was only a $10 buck downer. However, I saved that much with the amazing affordable concessions. NICE!

BTW, anyone facing the West Va Wild 1s will have to bring their A game. A nice team, well coached and good pitchers.

I second the motion of Johnnies..Jim Cleaver did a wonderful job as usual w/this tourney. We (Buckeye Heat 18-U) thoroughly enjoyed the day and will return to one of his tournaments as soon as we can...

Congratulations to the 18U Cincy Storm!! They had to play 4 games in a row finishing with the Championship game that went to extra innings! Nice job ladies!

Great weekend for softball at chillicothe. Great park. Alot of room to run. Tim you did a great job. I know the 16u Flamin' Fury was happy with the results. The westside Thunder was a tough team to finish the tournament out. Thanks again Tim.

Tim mentioned you were on the "back" fields (I was up on field "A") and I tried to find you to say "hi" after my games were finished. Couldn't seem to find you, but do rememeber seeing a white van with an orange ticket on the windshield, parked a few feet away from a "No Parking" sign!

You got one too!!! Yeah, we have been choosen to help the Chillicothe economy. Not to many were given the orange envelopes. I guess we were selected.

I was looking for you also. I did not have that much time to browse. I have no doubt we will meet up again in 2009.

WHITE VAN HERE!!! Since we never paid an entry fee to the tournament - I guess Chillicothe benefited from the parking tickets - no biggee - couldn't have had better weather though.

Good Job Cincy Storm on staying focused and coming thru in fine style to take our 18U division in extra innings!

I have addresses this problem with the mayor via e-mail.. especially since parking spaces was taken up by the brush from the city street from when the hurricane came through Ohio.

All comments appreciated as I think the park people done a great job there and fields were in wonderful condition over the weekend.

The citizens of Chillicothe can be so critical sometimes of these workers... but sometimes you don't appreciate what you have in the first place in my mind. A boost up for the park people would be appreciated by this writer.
