... huge deal out of nothing ... just won a world championship ... inflated regular season records ... silly coaches polls ... mythical home run records ... Play good competition ... Don't play cupcakes ... meaningless regular season game ... substandard competition ... conference pitching stinks
And thank you, that is a perfect display of panties in a bunch and is the very essence of textbook "discrediting" ... I counldn't have asked for a much better example.
Not to interrupt the festival of potshots, but I'm not real sure how Louisville could have scheduled a much tougher non-conference "meaningless" game schedule versus any "gooder" competition ... I know I know, scheduling games against 7 of the 8 Federal League teams probably doesnt count as good competition ... with it being such a weak substandard league and all, going unbeaten against the Federal was just meaningless inflating of their record ... oh yea, and Louisville was also so intimidated by good competition, they called in the rain to cancel their games scheduled against Boardman and Poland.
And oh that awful NBC ... that by absolute pot luck produced 2 D2 District semi-finalist (one of which was the District Champion by beating the other), plus a D2 sectional finalist that got beat 1-0.
But no really, continue with the spade is a spade realistic diatribe of meaningless, substandard, mythical, cupcake, stinks (etc etc) hater speak ... and please dont hesitate to continue to enlighten us about going 2 and done in a district that would most likely easily chew up and spit out the vast majority of teams in the state - you know, the one with perennial softball cupcakes Hoover, Perry, Lake, Jackson, Green ... your standard substandard Stark County pushovers. I'm quite sure there are many districts of any/all divisions that are sooooo much stronger top to bottom.
Its all good right?, just keepin it real? ... dont bother, I know your answer already ... enjoy yourselves.
