I agree.. sometimes coaches go on gut decisions that don't work out ... Madison outplayed them for 6.5 innings, then it all unravled in 2 batters... For a team with 4 starting freshmen to take it that far and to LWS for 6 1/2 in was amazing.. but great players make great plays .. I walk her too!
While Madison played a very good game they didn't outplay anyone for 6.5 innings the score was tied til the top of the 4th. With WLS leading by 1 after 2 innnings. It actually started to unravel in the 5th with WLS holding Madison scoreless the last 3 innings while scoring 2 in the bottom of the 5th and 2 in the bottom of the 7th.
