Until I have fees in hand I do not considered registered. I have had several teams inquire but most say will send in when there tryouts are finished. I do have 2 Irish teams that will be playing in those age division.

Normally in past entries come in around end of August first of September.

Had 19 teams last year.

Diamonds are on Hill just east of Westwood. It is a 4 diamond complex plus we have access to McCarthy fields 3 miles away if we should need them.

There are a bunch of good hotels off the Ohio turnpike/Reynolds road exit about 15 minutes south of the fields, in Maumee. Ranges from $45 bucks a night to $100 a night,all depends on what you are looking for.
That is where we always stay at for Toledo tournaments. Also you can go to www.toledo.com and at the bottom of the page you can click on the link and you will find every hotel in the Toledo and surrounding areas.

To be closest to the UT feilds, I would stay in the Westgate area. Perhaps the Clarion.

However anything off Dussel drive Maumee is nice

Holland, OH is just one exit North of the Maumee hotels. They are a bit cheaper, but also a bit older too. Still a nice area.

You are correct about the hotels off Dussel drive also in Maumee. Also you find the better restraunts there,espicially if you are a steak lover!!!!!

Hamptin Inn is our favorite (off Reynolds road) there in Maumee with the Holiday Inn (now with the new water park) is a close second.

Actually will be staying up there in Maumee for this tournament since we are in the 12u division for the Irish tournament. Should be a fun weekend of ball.

I would go with what Mr.Karl or Lady Irish would haft to say since they are from the Toledo area. I am familuar with the Maumee hotel only.

Were going to stay at the Clarion. thats where Mr.Karl sent me info for..I think its 62.50 per night, we stayed there last year for this tournament and it was nice a hotel..

Clarion is a great location for the UT feilds. If you want any specifics on the area, let me know and I'll try to make some recommendations!

Clarion is the closest to fields and is a really nice hotel. We worked out a special rate of $62.50 with them usually $30 more a night so they are working with us.
