Looks like 14u is shaping up nice, hopefully it wont be as hot as it was last year. Any teams care to give us some information about their team. I will try to get this started. Our team the Marion Merchants Black played 12u last year, we finished runners up to a very, very good Buckeye Heat team at this tournament last year, we also finished runners up at Fostoria Glass Festival, and runners up at the Little Brown Jug Classic in Deleware in the spring. We did win 1 tournament the I-270 preview showcase, and finished with several 3rds and 4th place finishes. We are looking forward to our new challenge playing at 14u and look forward to playing teams we have not faced before. Good luck to everyone, cant wait to get back on the diamond.

Thanks for a good tournament. The players, coaches and parents enjoyed the experience.

One possible suggestion for next year however, since the Sat & Sun format is almost a requirement for this time of year with school in session, I would ecommend dropping back to a 4gg (2 pool and double elimination) and start double elimination Saturday afternoon. If the 'If Game' would have been required in 12U the tournament would have went to 10 or 11 oclock - certainly not complaining - just feedback for next year.

Also, congrats to Compuware for two well played games. The players, coaches and parents are first class. A good organization with a group of well coached players.

Thank for the kind words. We are already discussing next year. I really need to keep it to two days because that time of year is hard for teams to get all their players with football, homecomings, volleyball, socer games ect. I have talked with the Rec department and they have another diamond close by we can use to get more games in on Saturday to ease Sundays schedule.

I want to thank all the teams that participated. We had a great field of teams. Best of all the weather was GREAT!!!!
