Are you tired of letting the kids have all of the fun?
Would you like to let the kids see that you still got it? Do you still have it? Come out & prove it!!!
Let's face it...all of us, or at least most of us used to play this game in some version or other whether it was baseball, slow-pitch softball or even fast pitch softball. Well it's time to dust those old bats off & get them back out again.
Field of Dreams in Lancaster is offering 6 week-long adult hitting leagues on Thursday & Friday nights starting the week of Jan 13th. Co-Ed league will be on Thursday & a men's league will be held on Friday nights. The league will be run exactly like the youth leagues (6 innings per game, 2 bunts & 5 hits per batter per inning) & the cost will be $180 per team for the 6 week league.
Weekly individual & team high scores will be posted on our Wall of Fame and league standings will be posted as well.
We will accept free-agents and make every effort to find a team for you. To ensure participation in the league, it would be best to register an entire team. The team can be from your company, your local bar, family team or even just a group of friends who would like to find something different & enjoyable to do! Grab a few of your coworkers & challenge another group friends. This is going to be a lot of fun. I'm quite sure many of the teams will stop at the nearby Rooster's after the league games to discuss their nightly performance. :cap:
Field of Dreams will be entering a team of their instructors & you are invited to come beat up on them!!
We will be setting the pitching machines at a "reasonable" speed so that it is enjoyable for all.

Except for Jan 1, we will be open every day from 12 noon to 9 PM between now & Sunday, Jan 5th. On Jan 6th, we will resume our normal hours by opening at 2:30 PM for our daily after-school open hitting program & remain open until 9 PM.

Aren't you sitting there reading this right now, when you could be doing something else? So...you do a lot for your daughter....it's time to do something for yourself!
