Pinnacle Sports will conduct an Instructional Softball Clinic for ages 8 and up on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 12:30-2:45pm at a cost of $35/per player.
Clinic participants will learn from some of the finest softball players in the National Professional Fastpitch League. This fun and exciting instructional clinic will help each participant develop the skills and knowledge that it takes to become a great softball player. Each participant will work along side a Pro player that knows what it takes to become one of softballs finest.
Each player will have an opportunity to work with a member of the Akron Racer?s in four skill-specific areas; infield skills, outfield skills, pitching skills and behind the plate catching. The Pros will then work with all players on base running, bunting and hitting. During this time of instruction the professional players will share their personal trials and triumphs they have faced along their careers, how they overcame any hurdles and how these difficulties have made them a better player and person. This clinic is designed to not only instruct the players but to motivate each girl to work hard, and take on those tough game challenges as well as life?s obstacles . Players will have the chance to ask questions and hear feedback on how the players reached this level of success in her career. This special clinic is designed to build softball skills and help the athlete build her self worth. All participants will also enjoy a chance for autographs and photo opportunities after the clinic.
Along with Professorial Softball Instruction and motivation each participant will receive a complementary Akron Racer Ticket for Pinnacle Sports Night on Wednesday, August 9. This is a doubleheader and each athlete that participates in the clinic may attend both games at Firestone Stadium, FREE! The first game starts at 4:35 PM and the second game will begin at 7:05 PM. All clinic participants we be recognized during the pre-game of the 7:05 game and a group photo with the Akron Racers team will be taken at the conclusion of that game. In between innings games and prizes will be awarded. This should be a great night for all. So make plans to learn from the Pros on Monday, August 7, 2017 and then watch the Pros on the 9[SUP]th[/SUP]. Parents may purchase extra tickets for friends and family at a discounted price of $5.00 each.
