Now if you are for the other team and the opposing coach is doing these things, I guess I can see why you find it annoying. ;&

I'll grant you those points in games without time limits, but in my experience the "showman" coaches cost themselves an inning of play in probably a third of their games and do so when working the clock hurts them just as regularly as they do so when working the clock is helping them. I always shake my head when we are beating a team in a timed game and the coach holds them in a pre-take the field conference that lasts over a minute and the umpire has to prod them to take the field.

I'm there to play softball, not watch clowns, I'll hit the circus if I feel the need to see those and I don't appreciate an adult cheating the kids out of time that could be spent playing.

Old man hair $ucks. It tells you that God has a twisted sense of humor. It becomes slow growing on top but sprouts like you used miracle grow on it everywhere else. :D

Tim

Well, at least now I know where all the hair in my bald spot went!!

paying a guy hundreds of bucks to work for me, then getting up at 5am to drive 4 hours to get there, (prob get a speeding ticket on the way) pay a couple more hundred for the hotel, another 100 in extras, then have the girls (mine inc) act like it's a nuisance to have to play ........ thats what upsets me.

I will third this, or the girls who don't have a clue what happened on the field but will sure notice from ten feet away if you forgot to trim your nose hairs or shave. :(

I'm with you there on all counts.

Since when did nose hair trimmers become a big problem at tournaments?

My pet peeves?

1. Tournaments with no walking tacos. (This I had to place first)
2. Lack of fences... (I am surprised this did not make the list in this thread)
3. Thowdown bases at a major tournament.
4. Third base coach trying to steal signs from dugout and shouting pitches to the batter.
(not illegal, I know but it still irks me)
5. Shirts/Jerseys not tucked in. I feel they should be tucked BEFORE arriving at the park. It shows class IMHO
6. Pepsi only parks... grrrrrr
7. Team coolers not allowed.
8. No walking tacos
9. Tournament brackets not posted
10. Crazy concession prices.. good God.... $4 for a hot dog and $3 for a small coke that is mostly ice.
11. Inadequate parking. 1/4 mile walk to fields hauling equipment and being charged to park.
12. Port a Potties that time forgot.
13. No walking tacos!!!
14. Finding out that Danger 13 is not at this tournament.
15. Weather lines that are not updated or do not work.

Done.... for now.

I will be there Johnnies, Promise. If you come out and watch your first TWO walking tacos are on me so enjoy them.

We will have fences
Coolers are welcome
We are charging to park but golf carts will help those that are in need
Port a potties will be cleaned
Brackets will be posted
Very reasonable concession prices
Plenty of WALKING TACOS
Goodtimes for all is recommended
I am with Johnnies on this one - Tuck the shirts in ( very classy looking )

Did I miss anything Johnnies?

How about lack of or no space to warm up?

Along the same line as the last post... When you go to the next field your DD is about to play on, and parents from the previous game keep their entire camp there b/c they're on that field again for their next game...4 hours later

Though I do appreciate (and we do it as well) when they leave their awning up and let people know that they are welcome to use it. That helps them and others.

Mad Hornet there is plenty of room to warm up as well. You could have 8 to 10 teams warming up at once on the grounds. Plenty of school yard
