Want to say it was cool having Ohio teams supporting each other when they could. We watched some Lasers orange, DOOM, Wizards, and of course Static 97. Thanks to those teams providing scouting reports within our little network. Played some flat out awesome teams and very proud of our 13u team. Hope to be able to get back to next years ASA/USA Class A Nationals.

Lasers Gray went 4-3. By the end of the week, we were playing with 9 girls and some out of normal positions. The girls fought hard and came up short with a 5-3 loss to Texas Sudden Impact to eliminate us. Was a fun week and saw great competition. Lots of college coaches watching.

Good luck tomorrow Buckeye Heat!

Looks like Buckeye Heat advances. They aren't doing a real good job keeping the brackets updated. I guess "Live" means 8-12 hours later in SD. ;)

This is simply not true. Brackets have been updated on line practically instantaneously. The tournament organizers have done a FANTASTIC job. You must have been on the wrong website. There can be no other explanation for your post.

Taking a break from the fields. In games this morning, MN Renegades 97 beat Georgia Force 97 10-2, scoring 9 runs, mostly unearned, in the last 2 innings. Impact Gold beat Team PA 16-2 in a game that was over (for all intents and purposes) in the first inning. Impact Gold then beat the Renegades 1-0. Second pitcher for Impact Gold was positively dominating. Just as dominating was the pitcher for the TN Fury as they beat Team AZ also by the score of 1-0. So now Impact Gold is playing Team AZ for the right to face the TN Fury. I'll be back for the championship game (or series) after a short lunch break. Very good teams with stud pitchers remaining. Really fun to watch.

Great championship game. Tennessee Fury 97 trailed Team AZ 2-1 heading to the bottom of the 7th, but scored two runs on a dramatic walk off single (line shot to CF) to win the 14U ASA/USA nationals. Today teams:

1. Tennessee Fury 97
2. Team Arizona
3. Impact Gold
4. Minnesota Renegades 97
5. Team Pennsylvania and Georgia Force 97 (tie)

I'm just realizing that two of the final 5 teams were at the Laser's Invitational this year. I could be wrong about that but I don't think I am. Someone on here can confirm.

Followed the tourney from ohio. Good job to all of the ohio teams and a huge congrats to Team Pennsylvania for finishing in the top 5! Although I'm not truly familiar with the team, what a great accomplishment for our neighboring sisters!!

correct... Team PA and MN Renegades were there as you suspected.

Team PA is very tough! Glad to see them go so far. Never saw MN play but heard via Twitter they did their share of whoopin up!

We loved the venue, the TD's communication, the park... the entire thing! Glad we could go!!!

The people who ran Sioux Falls, did an awesome job. They provided a top notch experience for the kids, and the facility was awesome! Very organized.

Thanks to Les and the Static for giving us a hitting scrimmage, it was nice to see the Ohio teams support each other. Us "98's" needed to stick together, there werent many of us overall.
