does this park have a connsession stand or bathrooms that are not porta johns yet, is the park even finished yet. Is there a parking fee or a gate fee to the park...

We played our HS season there and nothing has changed since last fall with the exception of the two 200' fields have no lights due to a cut cable. Porta-johns, the trailer concession stand and crappy old parking lot that killed a wheel bearing on my Trailblazer last year. LoL Nice fields, but it just hasn't gotten any better.

I believe there is still a gate fee. These fees and tournaments are what fund the renovations, so don't get too caught up in it "being done". The Sports Park is doing it's best to get the park in tip-top shape. It isn't going to happen over night, much like learning the game of softball.

I sent out the schedule yesterday. If you haven't received it, please let me know! for the 16U, make sure you have the most recent copy as we had to make some changes to accomodate a conflict in scheduling.

Can someone post the results? Especially the 14U bracket, just wondering how the ladies from Wooster did.

I don't know all the scores, but Lady Orioles beat Explosion in the final. Semi's were Lady Orioles over North Coast Spirit and Explosion over Wooster in 10 innings.

Thanks for the update, I heard the Wooster ladies were giving the travel teams a "run for their money" so to say and went 2-1 or 3-0 in pool play. Not too bad for a non travel ball team!

Hopefully #9 from the Extreme Fastpitch 18 -U is doing better, She had a colision with our catcher and was taken from field by EMS.. Our prayers are with her, Hope she make a fast recovery...

Stan, that young lady actually made it back to the ball park later that evening during the last round of 18U games. She was on crutches and had her ankle wrapped up but she said it was just a sprain..so I'm sure she'll be okay. Saw the ambulance myself so I'm glad to hear she is okay!
