BC (Bloom Carroll) Blaze Adds Tryout Date

Have you heard? The Bloom Carroll Bulldogs were State Champions - 2013 and State Runner Up - 2012 in softball...good news...in addition to their already successful 14u team, the Bloom Carroll community travel organization - BC Blaze will be fielding a 12u team for the 2013/2014 season. Tryouts will be held Aug. 18th at 2:30 at Bloom Carroll High School. TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD FOR BOTH 12U AND 14U TEAMS.

Mission
Our objective is to implant firmly in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, teamwork and respect for authority. The travel program also gives these young ladies a chance to gain tournament softball experience, develop sound fundamental softball skills, and a strong sense of teamwork which will aid them in being well rounded players later in their softball careers.

Description
The BCYA Blaze was formed to give young ladies a chance to play tournament softball. We are planning on competing in tournaments in the central Ohio area, including Lancaster, Pickerington, Gahanna, New Albany, and Ashville.

14U Team is still looking for a few athletes. Players do not have to be from the Bloom Carroll school district and all positions will be considered. We plan on playing in one fall tournament in the Central Ohio area, having a winter Speed and Agility Program at TAD Athletics with additional batting/fielding work, and playing approximately six tournaments next summer, with one tournament being a hotel stay.
