I'm with ya Mark. How soon people forget...
For those who
have forgotten, remember Jim Easton whenever your daughter hits a "glass ceiling" in her life. Jim Easton created one for your daughter when he recused himself from the I.O.C., and did not vote for continued inclusion of women's fastpitch in the Olympics. A memorable quote from another softball aficionado:
"...remember the vote was tied and Easton abstained, so while it was not the fault of any one person, it could have been saved by one person. That person chose not to be the hero that could have offered inspiration to millions of young girls and boys across the globe."

Technically, he didn't abstain, but recused himself because of a supposed conflict of interest with his company. If that's the case,
why was he ever on the board in the first place?? If there was a conflict, it was when he was admitted to the board! IMO, Jim Easton is a "Pin Head". Why support an unethical individual, or his enterprise, who is essentially antagonistic to the advancement of women's fastpitch? Vote with your wallet.
