First of all despite this being my first posting in quite some time I have done my best to keep up with the goings-on here . I remember posting here for the very first time when my DD was barely 8 and we just got steamrolled in our very first tournament lol. Now she is all of 10 1/2 and has worked hard to become a decent little catcher and I thankfully have had the means to get her catching and hitting / slapping lessons.

I knew there was a thread on here that address is clinics and camps but I discovered today through another parent on my DDs team that the University of Kentucky is hosting a two day camp this weekend and the University of Tennessee in mid January is hosting a one day slapping camp which unfortunately is a day we have a conflict on.

My roundabout question is, is there an efficient way at a glance, to see all of the camps and clinics coming up on any given website? Even for as great as this site is the only information about these opportunities that we see are ones obviously posted by the people hosting them, and unless I missed it altogether I have not found a reference for either of the aforementioned ones.

And I know that people that post here are reticent to express their opinion ;) - but I am curious as to when others here started sending their DDs to these various camps and clinics for the experience but also for visibility.

I may not post on here as often as I feel compelled to - mainly because so many people here are so much more knowledgeable than I that I am content to read everyone's wisdom - but rest assured I do read as much as I can on the general forum and feel fortunate for the collective mindset here that is always helping me along .

Our organization list all the camps in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. Since most of the organizations teams/players come from those areas that are the only states listed. It includes all NCAA I, NCAA II, NCAA III, NAIA, and USCAA schools in those states. It is sorted by date and will list the school, type of camp, grades eligible and cost. It also provides a link to each comp.

You can find a link here. http://www.crushfastpitch.org/college-camps FYI...Its hard to visit that page on a mobile cause the size of the table.
