Best Second Baseman 14U, 16U, and 18U

Who do you think is the best Second Baseman at the 14U, 16U, 18U Level and why do you think that?

What High school team does she play for?

What travel team does she play for?

Does she play other positions?

Does she have a good bat?

Two of the better second basemen are freshman.
1. Maddie Richards from Massillon Jackson who plays for the Black Ice 16U in the Summer. She plays hard ALL the time.

2. Andrea Arney from Fairless who plays for the 14U Wolfpack Black. She has stepped up her game and can bunt, hit for power, and be a threat on the bases.

3. Arynne Norris from Massillon Perry has really come on in the last year. She plays second and fields her position as well as anyone. Good arm, good range. She bunts and is a good contact hitter. Very good softball smarts!

Ollie Mathews plays hard has great speed and has great bat. She plays for St Vincent-St mary and Ohio Ice Blue 16U

Jamie you seem to leave out all of your own 14u gold team on each thread????? Maybe you should show some interest since they carry your name???? They do have many talented girls. Cayla Siedler is by far the best second base 14u in the state.

Of course i haven't seen every second baseman. I would put the farm on her for 14u and i have seen and played with the best in the state for years, including the lasers. Nothing gets by this girl. Watch her some time, its worth it.

Yes it is a bold statement and my personal opinion. Why so defensive and what does andrea arney have to do with cayla? I'm a little confused on your point. Can't I just put my opinion on with out being questioned? I believe the question was "Who is the best?" and I gave my opinion, Cayla Siedler. I believe she is the best in the state as a young, meaning 13 years old, playing 14u. I could certainly be wrong but i doubt it

I think there is alot of great second base girls out there for the 14u, as far as Cayla Seidler goes she plays a great second base, is VERY fast running bases, last summer she had 54 stolen bases at 12u, hits the ball well and just loves to play the game. This is her first year at 14u , I think she will do great this season along with the others girls that play second base. 8)
