Where do I start? This year has been quite a trying experience for my family and myself. I have done many games this spring and summer. In every game I have called, some one in my softball family have come up to comfort me for my loss, ask how I'm doing or just to shake my hand and tell me that they are glad to see me out calling games. The out pour of letters and emails from coaches ,players,former players,umpires and people who really care about what happened has been extraordinary. Those of you who have been part of this roller coaster ride of emotion with me, I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my broken heart. With out all you, I may not have returned.Thanks to everyone for making this season one that I WILL NEVER forget.

On JUly 10th my son's killer recieved in an Ethiopian court of law a light sentence of 17 years with parole after 10 years of good behavior. This verdict has devastated my family amd myself. How can a man kill another and serve 10 years? This is unacceptable to us. We have many unanswered questions and no closure. The Adkins Family wanted to pass on this verdict to my softball family. Please hug your kids for we know not how long we will have them. Remember that what happens between the lines in all that it is STILL just a game. Thanks for listening to me
