Bringing a Florida team to Columbus for NSA WS

Tomorrow I begin my trek from Orlando (where I have spent the last month and a half of my summer break) up to Canton, Georgia (where I live now) then to Columbus (my home town). I am very proud to be bringing the Central Florida Stingrays 96 up to the NSA World Series. For seven years I have been on this board, and I have made a lot of good friends through the sport and this OFC. So, if you see the Central Florida Stingrays out at Berliner next week, I would love to hear from some of my old (and even new) friends. I am very much looking forward to coming back home and coaching in a tournament with so many familiar faces.

I know there is a sour taste in many's mouths after the NSA State turmoil, but I am hoping that this event lives up to the level that a National Tournament (be it NSA and not ASA) deserves. I know our group of young ladies (that FlaRays normally coaches) are very excited.

Good luck to all of the teams in the tournament.

Hey coach,
That's great to hear the Southern Belles of the Organization are trekking Northward. Let us know what times you play and I will try and stop by to introduce myself. Hopefully they will get some nice weather in as it's already like Orlando here today!

Safe Travels!

Coach,
I'll look for you and your Stingrays. If you see Buckeye Heat 91(Gianas) stop by and say hello.

Steve, I will definitely look for you and yoru family. I hear Stephanie is doing pretty well back at my alma mater!!

Uber, honestly, having lived and coached in four differet states since leaving Ohio, and no matter what the perception is, Florida has no better competition than any of the other places (other than probably Kansas). The prolifieration of talent down here has watered down the teams so much that while the individual talent might be ever-so-slightly better, the teams aren't necesarilly any better. So, our little team of undersized 11-year-olds will take whoever we happen to draw ;-)!!!
