Cincy Magic "Bloodfest" 10/16

Thanks to the Magic for putting on the "Bloodfest" this weekend. Great cause, great competition.

Fields were in good condition and weather was pretty good today (Sunday). Our 16U played some great teams and had a lot of fun.

It was great that you could make the drive down I75 and that the weather turned out so nice (but windy)!

As a coach of a 12U team on Saturday, my favorite part of the day was huddling with my girls after the game and discussing the great plays and performances from the opposing team and making the sometimes difficult choice of who deserved the MVP for the opponents. Thanks to Perry Grein (Magic 13U) for putting together the MVP medals.

If anyone missed out on an opportunity to get a t-shirt from the event, contact me and I will see if we have any left. Each shirt sale increases the donations going to the National Kidney Foundation, LifeCenter, Leukemia Society and Community blood center.

Based on sales of shirts at the event we hoping to have nearly $400 to donate to these great causes!

Those MVP medals were pretty nice! They did a great job.

Might have to get some of those teams to drive up I-75 to get some innings in Tipp City over the next few weekends. ;&
