Has anyone used this system? My DD is 12 and her pitching instructor wants her to do some work to improve her posture and over all strength. We are considering personal trainers at her pitching facility, purchasing a "system" like CS, or going the "bands from Walmart and youtube" route. We are looking for any input or recommendations.

You can go to a Personal Trainer through ACE or Adrenaline that does sport specific training https://adrenalinesf.com/.

My DD went through BEAT. http://www.beatpersonaltraining.com/
Its not cheap...

However you do not need to live at any trainers place.

Learn various drills and work at home. It helps focus with a trainer but; if DD is dedicated she will work out on her own or with another dedicated goal orientated teammate. You can get a 5 gallon bucket and build a players work out kit. You can even use the bucket for drills....

You want to build strength for pitching and catching I would recommend start by jumping rope and the legs. (It will also help hitting)... See if she can go for one minute If not, work up to it.
If she can go 1 minute work on building time 30sec at a time. (Use a weighted jump rope)...

Stretch tubes are a good investment along with a "medicine ball". (The weight will depend on size of your DD). There are a ton of good workouts available with the medicine ball. This was my DDs favorite workout item.

Doing Plyo drills like: speed square, long jumps and adding in wall sits, leg lifts, bridges will help develop the core. Just work on building time, accuracy and distance....

Agility needs to also come into play and you can use ladder drills and cone drills to help with balance and posture.

A key area to stress is; make sure to break up the workouts and use good warm up and cool down activities like Jumping Jacks followed by dynamic and static stretches. This will allow your dd to see more benefit from the work out.

I would stay away from weight lifting.... outside of light kettle and dumb bells as she gets stronger. There are some good workouts with these as well.
