Eligibility: ?Girls 9 years of age and up
Location: ?Clements Recreation & Fitness Center ? Otterbein College
Westerville, OH​

Two sessions will be available for walk in registrations. Saturday 9 AM-5 PM and Sunday 9 AM-5 PM. Registrations start at 8 AM on both days. Fees for each session will be $125.00 per individual. Please not that both sessions are identical in instruction.

MAIL IN REGISTRATION IS CLOSED (They will not make it to us in time for the clinic)

Non-Parental observers are welcome to attend to watch and learn for a $20.00 fee at the door. We encourage anyone that is interested to come out and see what they can learn.

Remember as an added bonus, not only will you have the experience and skill of Crystl Bustos but we now have Howard Carrier also coming out to assist with the clinic. This is a great opportunity for all to learn from two of the best in hitting techniques.

Thank you for allowing others to come and at least listen to what is going on. I talked with JoeA1010 the other night and ask him to call you so they could get in or at least be able to listen to the information. With hitting methods usually being a hot topic on most forms I would hope some of those people show up to discuss and share their opinions...talking about it on a form and teaching it is a little different. Being able to teach it and describe it in measureable and observable terms so the student can understand and feel it is even better....Hitter23 do you have any comments?

"I Have to second what Luvthegame said, my DD has been going to Howard for over 2 years and it has been one of the most influential experiences in my DD's softball playing. Howard has probably forgotten more about hitting than most "hitting gurus" ever knew... next time you go to a tournament, watch the big hitters and more than likely, they will have that signature "Howard" technique. This isnt your usual run of the mill clinic, I strongly recommend if you get a chance to attend, do so.... Smiley "

Nat has a 3 game scrimmage Sat unless the weather doesnt cooperate, but we're trying to make it Sunday.

Have to be another one to agree! DD would move next door to him if she could. And believe it or not, he has even helped improve her World Studies grade! DD says there isn't anything he doesn't know something about. And when you have someone like Crystl tell you she has told everyone she meets that as far as she is concerned he is THE best hitting coach in Ohio and one of the best in the entire country you listen. This weekend will be a great opportunity for anyone who attends.

You are right about school work. Howard teaches the girls how to take notes in a way that they can remember what they are studying.

One of my favorite things about Howard are all his "inventions." One training aid is actually being manufactured and will be distributed for sale.

I hope anyone who did not get a chance to attend this on Saturday was able to go today. Was hoping to be able to be there all weekend but had to get back for a game. Howard and Crystl as always did a great job. It's so nice to see the young girls run off to tell mom and dad that "I did it right" or "I need to start doing this" as it shows what all of us who have been lucky enough to work with Crystl and Howard already know-they know their stuff and have a great way of teaching it.

To the Westerville Ice-Talk about a classy group of coaches! Thank you for letting Kayla and I be a part of the clinic. You did a great job and gave a lot of girls the opportunity to meet and learn from the best. Sorry we couldn't be there for today. Hope the girls didn't give Crystl too much competition last night!

The coach and players from Otterbien were terrific. Thank you for opening your facility to the team and girls to use during your spring break.

Howard-there are not enough words to express what you mean to our girls (and we parents too) and for what you have done for the sport. I even had parents say that once you explained things it all made more sense. Thank you for being so willing to share your time and expertise with all of the players.

We have been lucky enough to not only work with Crystl but over the years have become friends with her. What a special person she is. If you have never attended one of her clinics find one anywhere you can and go. She does such a great job with the girls and you never walk away from one of her clinics feeling that you did not get your moneys worth.

I received a phone call tonight from the father of one of the players that attended today as a last-minute addition. Her father asked me what we did to her. He said that she came home and asked him to set up a hitting net in their back yard so that she could practice. She was telling him about what she learned. He said that she has never been that eager to want to practice her hitting until she attended the clinic.
