Catching lessons on Wednesday only with Liz Young

Crystl will be in town Monday October 12 thru Thurs October 15 for private hitting lessons.
Half hour or hour sessions available. Hour rate is $90.00 or half hour at $50.00


Liz will be available on Wednesday starting at 1:00 pm. Hour long private catching lessons are $55.00 per hour. ( Location to be determined )


Hitting Lessons will be held at 6140 Pleasant Ave Fairfield Oh 45014

Lessons will begin at 11:00 each day. Below are the times already taken. The list will be updated daily as time slots are filled.

Each day from 3-4 Crystl will be at lunch

Monday
4:00-5:00, 5:00-5:30, 5:30-6:00, 6:00-6:30, 6:30-8:00

Tuesday
5:30-6:00, 6:00-6:30, 6:30-8:00

Wednesday
4:00-5:00, 5:00-5:30, 5:30-6:00, 6:00-6:30, 6:30-8:00

Thursday

Coaches you can schedule time for yourself and talk with Crystl about how she does what she does and holds the bat or grips it the way she does or balances the way she does....I have compared her to being the Barry Bonds of women without the steroids and that time spent with her could be priceless as to getting information for coaching females.

Another huge benefit of working with her is the communication of how the female athlete feels or should not feel with doing certain drills. Recently a coach was here and told his daughter to stand taller in the box and you could see her bat speed reduce and hear the difference when she hit the ball. I looked at him and said females are not as powerful in that position as males and ask his daughter to bend at the waist first and soften the knees next in that sequence and you could see and hear the difference immediately when she hit the next ball and he said I forgot about that!

As male coaches it is important to understand the differences of how their body works differently than ours and what better person could you have than Crystl? Look at the training techniques TEAM USA uses and she knows them all and can explain it so you can understand it and communicate it to your team. We are often ask by parents why a coach lays the bat flat, why they don't teach a flexed front leg when throwing or hitting...come and ask her yourself and be prepared to defend your position and you might learn something that will help you with your team or daughter....also consider coming to one of the clinics!

Howard-great idea. It would definately help the girls if the coaches understood what they were learning. And your right, getting a chance to talk to Crystl is priceless. You learn something new each time you get a chance to talk to her.

People area always saying I wish I had a chance to pick her brain-now is the chance. Hopefully they take this opportunity to do so.

I'll see who's interested at our practice Sunday. We've had about 5 girls take advantage of these events in the past and all have praised how much they got out of the skills she teaches and all were impressed.

The later time slots are filling up quickly. Anyone interested in working with Crystl-player or coach, be sure to reserve your time soon. Any coaches interested in working with Crystl could schedule time during the day when the players will be in school (what better reason to take a couple hours off work-lol)

I hope everyone tries to take advantage of this opportunity. Not many people are lucky enough to have her in town for such an extended period of time.

No I will not be at the lessons as I have kids I am doing at the house.
