The video from "Comp" shows a more severe angle away from the hip than I usually see, but nearly every good curve ball (palm up curve) that I have seen in women's fastpitch could be called illegal according to rule. Why are they not called illegal pitches due to the wrist being farther from the body than the elbow? Am I looking at it the wrong way? FYI, I don't think they should be illegal pitches I'm just not getting the rule or the lack of enforcement I guess.

I agree..maybe Bretman can explain.
