I was informed tonight that the schedule for the Winter league will be out tomorrow. I will post it online and Dee will call you also to let you know your game times. Remember......Fees are due NOW.

Why doesn't a complex like Gateway have thier own website? We tried to get on there and get some information but it has stuff dated on there from 2 or 3 years ago, and no forms or anything.
You would think that if they were in the business of doing these types of events then they would be able to get the information out via thier website and they would not have to rely on someone else to get thier info out. Is anyone else having this same problem?

I agree. They need someone to update their website. The new manager has a very heavy workload as it is and the person who was doing their website was fired along with the old manager. Gateway has had some problems in the past year and the new owners and manager are "TRYING"
to get everything going in the right direction. They were handed a bad situation and they said it will take time to get all the kinks worked out. I myself are just glad to be able to have a place for Dayton area teams to play in the colder months. It may not be perfect, but it is better than sitting on the couch all winter. I think it will all go pretty well, but there will always be one or two that you can never please anyway.

Due to half of the teams not having enough players for this weekend due to the area State Soccer Tournaments, Gateway has moved the Start of the Winter League to Oct. 29
"NO GAMES AT ALL THIS WEEKEND" (Northwestern will be having an indoor practice at Gateway though). The full schedule will be out tomorrow. I will post it as soon as I get it from Gateway. Any questions just call Gateway Sports Complex at 937-224-7529

How long does the league last and do you have any openings in either the 14u or 16u ages groups

The league runs 8 weeks plus a single elimination tournament at the end.
This first league is full, but Gateway starts another early bird league on or about ?Jan. 14th. There are still openings in that league for the 11U/12U bracket and the 14U/16U bracket. Team spot is guaranteed after the league fee is recieved.
