Dear Softball Directors/Coaches,

This letter is to inform you on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, there will be a coaches meeting at the Dayton Cultural Center, 40 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. at 6:30 PM, for all returning and NEW teams and coaches. Please plan on attending. This is an important meeting for coaches and their associations.

Information concerning the deadline for returning teams and how to secure your spot will be finalized at this meeting. We will discuss last year?s rules and league concerns.

So...what teams plan on playing in this league?

We plan on it.

Im not one of the coaches that will be there, and Im sure someone will say something anyway but, one big concern from last year was the huge variance in the pitching rubbers because of the mens teams. A couple times we took a field with the pitching rubbers set at 50 ft and nobody wanted to fix them or fix some of the huge ruts in front of the mound.

We will be sending several teams .. for what it is, it is good time to experiment with lineups etc...
