I wanted to congratulate the Newton Indians softball team on their 1st ever State Championship Win in Div IV. This is the first championship of any kind for the school, and I think these girls deserve to be recognized. They played against Strasburg-Franklin for the championship game, congrats to Strasburg-Franklin also for a great year. Way to go INDIANS......

We had the pleasure to play against Newton this year, the outcome certainly wasn't in our favor but it was fun watching their team play. Congratulations to Coach Kadel a well deserved trophy for a man who has given so much to his community and the girls that have played for him.

A couple of the girls are on the Miami County Blaze 16U team, they have 2 Blue team and Gold team.

you can say all you want about high school vrs travel. but there is nothing to compare when you win a championship with your friends for your school.. the perry coach plays slow-pitch on tuesday nights at alliance on rt 62. i'll bet she gets some cheers tonight..
