Eat where the cops eat & don't play for a coach with clean socks!

As a rule of thumb, if you are traveling & don't know were to eat...if you see a police car parked outside a diner it is THE place to eat.
Along these same lines....when looking at teams to play for...check out the coach's socks. If they have that constant ring of dirt...that's an active coach who spends a lot of time on the field, not sitting in the dugout. I say this because I couldn't find a pair of white socks this morning that doesn't have that permanent stain.
Just food for thought.

I just HAD to post this, when I saw 12 pairs of white ankle-high socks with the tops all dirt stained. Not enough bleach in the world to erase the memories contained in those stains!

Found this post very funny. Been a long time but I still have socks with the dirt stains on them. Lived in Tennessee for while and those are all red clay color rings where ohio socks are just brown.

I didn't even know they still made white socks. I remember back in the day w/ the white tube socks that had 3 solid colored rings around the top & I used to pull those up to my knees cause it was cool - wow have times changed = I am way older.

Kavin....haven't you seen the ballers today? They are back at it, wearing those knee high socks. Fashion comes around full circle, I guess. Waiting for my MC Hammer pants to come back into style!!
I recall the 3 colored ones as well...showing my age, I guess. You could pull them up as high as you wanted and still see the entire sock because the shorts were shorter than daisy dukes back then.
I shudder when I see pictures of myself in the summer of about 1980.
