Eligibility Rule? for High School Sports

My daughter will be transferring to a new school this year in Ohio, we reside in a bordering district. This will be her freshman year, from what I understand from the OHSAA rules are that she will not have to sit out a year. Since she has not established her eligibilty at any high school yet? Am I correct ?

Eligibility is established by:
1. Participating in a contest (scrimmage, preview or regular season game) prior to the first day of school, or
2. Attending the first day of school at any high school (or attending the first five days of school for freshmen).
