Due to the high number of registrations that are expected, we have decided to post team limits in each age group at our main facilities. The limits will be as follows... 10U - 8 teams , 12U - 12 teams , 14U - 12 teams ,
16U - 32 teams and 18U - 8 teams. These spots will be reserved on a first come first serve basis on full payment along with the registration. All teams that register after these spots are filled will be placed on alternative fields as needed.

We would also like to inform all participants that we will be starting pool play games as early as 1:30PM on Friday the 1st of July. Please inform us if playing this early will be a problem.

Shouldn't that stuff be public knowledge if you want people to get envolved or to buy into it...When things are kept secrete it makes me wonder what they are hiding...

Todd ... not a big deal ... I had gone to the website to see how much it cost and if there was any info about college coaches attending. Website mentioned the possibility of a "whole team discount" and contacting them if interested. So sent an e-mail asking about that and any info on college coaches.

We are not hiding anything. I did not have all of the information at the time I posted the showcase. I put it out there for people to see that we are offering a great exposure opportunity for them along with a very well run tournament. And as you can see I have posted more details on the showcase now that I have recieved them.

Glad to see another tournament where teams can earn a berth to the big show.

This question is probably directed more toward Warren Jones or the State ASA JO official but since Cleveland is no longer classified as a Metro, where are these berths coming from?

I'll bet the berths are coming from Ohio ASA since they absorbed the Cleveland Metro area. Ohio ASA has 5 berths this year and they're only awarding 4 of them at their State Championship.

I noticed something interesting in the OP - Participants are eligible to attend ASA Eastern "A" Nationals. Does that apply to all entrants registered in Ohio ASA?

SoCal,
Not ignoring you. I did send Warren an e-mail and he has not responded to your first question. And for the second question can you send an e-mail to Jim Jones our td. He should be able to answer that question.
Thanks

Parma Wildcats and Thunder's Dad:

Hope we see a Wildcats team at 16U. That age group is going to be shakin' over the 4th.

Thunder's Dad and myself coach our 14u team, so we wouldn't be there if our 16u team is. Which I think they maybe going, not real sure yet. But our 12u team is going there coached by OFCer hlawr42462 aka Hunter
