Yes it is a catchers favorite. It is sort of a "try to steel home on me will you!" She got the out. Perfect swing to low tag. But I felt bad for the slider. Her head sort of bounced off the ground hard. She laid there a few minutes. DD asked if she was OK & the UMP said shes fine, you tagged correctly, nothing you can do on a collision.
DD is also a pitcher. But we needed her behind the plate this season. Next year things will be different as she will pitch more to prep for High School.
She will catch some to keep her in shape, but she needs more pitching time per her pitching coach.
I love to see her pitch but I will miss watching her agressive catching style too! Oh well, what can you do. Just sit & watch the game & .....take a million pictures!! I made videos of the tournaments her last two years. Thats my thang!

OK one more...Here she is pitching. She will be pitching more this season so some of you 14U folks may see her in action. (Yes she is a pitcher & a catcher, utility player) Im looking forward to it. Love watching her pitch. (BEAM! Hey I'm just the mom/photographer)

I found another one of her filling in behind the plate (she's a pitcher) when our regular catcher got hurt. She's a little animated on a swing & a miss. I've got to get that one resized.
